Kathryn Kelly - Cake Designer

 

 

  

I first got into sugarcraft about 14 years ago when I attended some local classes.  I soon got the bug and several courses, classes and demonstrations and hundreds of pounds later, I am an award winning cake designer and decorator with Gold Medals at both Cake International 2008 and 2009.  More recently, I was a finalist in PME Cake Decorator of the Year 2011 and a Regional Finalist in the 2012 Wedding Industry Awards.


2012 sees my work published in Cake Craft and Decoration with a design (hopefully the first of many!) in the February issue.

I enjoy sharing my skills and enthusiasm with others and, as an Accredited Demonstrator and Assessor with the British Sugarcraft Guild, I am available for demonstrations, workshops and private tuition.


My cakes have featured in Wedding Cakes, a Design Source, Issues 20, 24, 25, 36, 38, 39, 40 and 41 and Cakes and Sugarcraft, Issue 113, as well as Worcestershire Living, February 2011, and Wedding Ideas November 2010 and April 2011.
