By placing an order with Kathryn's Cakes, you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions below.

Please be aware that the content of this web site, including all images, are the property of Kathryn's Cakes and the reproduction of any content or images is expressly forbidden under any circumstances.

All goods supplied are subject to the following Terms & Conditions.

Product Descriptions

It is in the nature of our products that some slight variation in shading is unavoidable.

Shade variations on monitors, combined with the difficulty in photographing beads and wire, dictate that colours shown on this site are used as a guide only. If you are unsure about a colour please request a sample before investing in a large quantity of our products.  Whilst we have tried to make the images as true as possible we cannot guarantee that your monitor will reproduce this effect accurately. The pictures are not to scale and are for reference only. The actual size, thickness and length of an item should be verified by referring to the text accompanying the image.

Delivery Details

Goods will normally be dispatched by 1st Class post within 48 hours of receipt of your order (excluding weekends and Holidays).  These items should be delivered within 48 hours of dispatch but this cannot be guaranteed.

Parcels are subject to Royal Mail terms and conditions.

If your order is urgent, please contact us to discuss the most appropriate and economical means of meeting your delivery date. 

Large parcels will require a signature. If you are not in a card will be left at the delivery address. It is the customer's responsibility to arrange for collection/re-delivery. Any goods not collected and subsequently returned to us will be sent out again on payment of a further delivery charge.

In the unlikely event of goods not arriving within 28 days of dispatch, it is the customer's responsibility to notify us that they are not in receipt of the expected package.

A dispatch email will be sent when goods are dispatched. If an order has been placed and a dispatch email has not been received within 7 days please contact us immediately.

We try our hardest to keep all items in stock. However, due to long lead times at the manufacturers we are sometimes unavoidably out of an item. In these circumstances the customer will be emailed to confirm that this item is to be placed on back order with us.

Returns and Cancellations

If goods arrive in a damaged or faulty condition, please email us as soon as possible. We will replace or refund for the damaged goods as required. We will also pay the normal Second Class/standard parcels cost of returning your goods. Please do not return damaged goods without contacting us first to ascertain the best method of return.  Damaged or faulty goods must be received by us before a replacement can be dispatched.  Any shortages/discrepancies must be advised as soon as possible.

If you do not like the goods you have chosen, or if you have ordered the wrong goods, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and return them to us, ideally within 14 days. Please enclose a copy of your invoice indicating the items being returned. We will be happy to refund you for the returned items excluding P&P charges providing they are returned in their original condition with any original packaging. You must pay the cost of returning the goods and you will be responsible for their safety during transportation. When returning items please obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office so that you can make a claim against them in the event of the goods being lost in the post.

If you ordered incorrectly or want replacement goods for returned items, this will be regarded as a new order and as such should be made through the website in the usual way which will include postage and packing at the standard rate.

When returning goods, it is your responsibility that they are packed so as to avoid damage in the post.

We cannot guarantee the suitability of any of our products for a specific purpose therefore customers are asked to make their own tests before making any large orders. We cannot exchange or refund any money on items that have been used unless faulty.

Refunds for returned items will be made through PayPal to the account through which the purchase was made or by cheque/BACS as appropriate within 14 days of receipt of the returned item(s).

Please note, edible photos are a bespoke item and therefore are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Health and Safety

The items supplied by Kathryn's Cakes, including all packaging, are not toys.  Sufficient precautions should be taken by the customer to ensure that all items are kept out of the reach of young children.
